Charlie Rose is a highly respected and accomplished musician, producer, and songwriter with a career spanning over two decades. Born and raised in eastern Kansas, Charlie's passion for music began as a student of voice, piano, trombone, and guitar. He quickly added bass, mandolin, and banjo to his repertoire, and after completing his science degree, he made the decision to pursue a career in music.
Charlie's extensive experience playing with many artists and bands on various instruments, including pedal steel, banjo, guitar, horns, percussion, strings, bass, and keys, has earned him a reputation as a highly versatile musician. Sally Van Meter
Dobro
For the last four decades. Sally Van Meter’s Dobro and slide guitar work has graced the live stages and recording studios performing with prominent and talented artists including David Grisman, Jerry Garcia, Tony Rice, Jorma Kaukonen, Chris Hillman, Herb Pedersen, Jerry Douglas, Taj Mahal, Mary Chapin-Carpenter, Alison Brown, Peter Rowan, Laurie Lewis, Russ Barenberg, Stuart Duncan, Kathy Kallick, The Nashville Bluegrass Band, Gerry O’Beirne, Maura O’Connell. Known as an evocative and lyrical player, her slide guitar work has been featured in films and TV as well.
In 1994 Sally was awarded the NARAS GRAMMY for The Great Dobro Sessions and in 1996 recorded on a special recording project with David Grisman and Jerry Garcia ‘The Songs of Jimmie Rodgers–A Tribute’ produced by Bob Dylan for Columbia Records. Before switching gears to the studio and independent music work, from 1977 to 1996, Sally was a member of the Good Ol’ Persons, a much-beloved band based in the San Francisco Bay Area. She has been an IBMA Finalist Nominee for Dobro Player of the Year from 1990-1997 and in 1994 won two IBMA awards for Best Instrumental Recording and Recorded Event of the Year, (The Great Dobro Sessions).
Sally’s latest studio offering is an award recipient of the Best Weissenborn Recording of 2015 in the UK ‘Tre Mistiche, her live Weissenborn slide duo project featuring Bruce Molsky, Ledward Ka’apana, Gerry O’Beirne and Johnny Dickinson.
Currently residing in Colorado, and along with freelance filmmaking, music performance and studio production, Sally’s love of teaching Dobro and musicality keeps her a mainstay at music workshops & camps throughout the US/UK and Europe.

Eric Thorin
Upright Bass, Electric Bass, Tuba
Eric Thorin, a musician known for his exceptional skills in upright bass, electric bass, and tuba. Based in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, he is a prominent figure in the music scene. Eric can be seen on stage with The Matt Flinner Trio alongside Ross Martin, The Bow Tides, Hamster Theatre and as member of the eTones on eTown's syndicated radio show. He has toured with renowned bands such as the Peter Rowan Bluegrass Band, The Jason Carter Band, Danny Barnes, Jeff Austin and more. Owner of Ethoriole Music, Eric has contributed to two Grammy-nominated recordings, including 'Calling You From My Mountain' with The Peter Rowan Bluegrass Band and 'Man On Fire' by Danny Barnes.

KC Groves
Mandolin, Guitar, Upright Bass
An accomplished instrumentalist (mandolin, guitar, bass), vocalist and songwriter, K.C. Groves has been at the heart of many celebrated projects. As the creative center and bandleader of Uncle Earl for over a decade, K.C. helped bring old time music to a wider audience. The "g’Earls" played major festival stages in the United States and toured extensively abroad, gaining fans and musical cohorts such as Led Zeppelin’s John Paul Jones, who produced their 2007 album Waterloo, Tennessee. In addition to Uncle Earl, K.C. has released two solo albums of original material, and was a Telluride Troubadour contest finalist and a Detroit Music Award winner. She has teamed up with countless notable musicians, including old time musician and craftsman Riley Baugus and Leftover Salmon’s Vince Herman.
